Here are 4 skills to master towards creating a path that feels true, and meaningful for greater wellbeing:

⭐ Daily Gratitude

Research has found that people that are grateful, are happier, feel healthier and build fulfilling and meaningful relationships. We can express daily gratitude in multiple ways.

One tip, is to practice gratitude first thing in the morning, you can either journal it in your mind, mention three things you are grateful for and why, each day.

⭐ Practice Forgiveness

When we forgive, we’re liberating ourselves from the burden of anger, frustration, bitterness, competitiveness, fear. Forgiveness is not about giving in and devaluing ourselves, it’s about, seeing the situation for what it is, acknowledging that we make mistakes, allowing for mercy, rather than a crucifixion. Shift into a mindset perspective of grace and love.

⭐ Show Compassion

First and foremost, we need to show compassion to ourselves and then we bring compassion towards others. Often, we allow the inner critic to take over our thoughts and our minds become clouded with negative looping thinking and anxiety. Here’s a tip on how to move from critical to compassionate:

Get to know your inner critic intimately, that way you won’t resist it and run from it, rather be the witness of your thinking. This allows you to not be attached or identified with the critical chatter, shift to the enquirer instead.

Always, remind yourself that the inner critic is only trying to protect you from emotional hurt, it’s the ego’s mechanism, the false self, not the truth of who you’re. The real you is compassionate and kind and loving.

You may want to create a go to compassion mantra, eg: “I am doing really well, I am worthy of good things and I am grateful for all I have”

⭐ Service To Others

One way to find your authentic blueprint, is to shift your perspective from “me to we”, that way what ever you are doing, you see what difference you’re making. What your contribution is, how it impacts others and the world, what is your why and become more intentional with your choices and the path you take.
