One key is to learn to Integrate the past into the present and rewrite the future by no longer resisting the past.
How to integrate: Begin to soften in your heart, know the past is what happened and by accepting the past in the present, there’s space and capacity to move through emotions with with more awareness – deepening your relationship with self.
Place your hand on your heart and take a few deep slow mindful breaths and feel your body, sink into each emotion. Say, “I can breathe, I am here”. “I release fear with love and light.”
 
⭐ Grounding and Presence
 
Spend time each morning for 5 minutes to practice a self-care ritual to honour yourself, by grounding yourself into your body and earth. Connect to god, universe the source, setting intentions for your day ahead with heart based intention.
 
Tips for rituals:
Breathing, place your hand on heart, practice belly breaths by placing your feet firmly on the ground and breathe in for four, hold for 6 and exhale through your mouth for 8.
 
Meditate for a few minutes in silence and take long deep breaths.
 
Spending time in nature or practicing body awareness exercises can also be beneficial.
Set a mindful intention, place your hand on heart and setting what your heart speaks.
 
⭐ Regulating Nervous System Daily Check in
 
Our nervous system can go into overdrive and we easily get overwhelmed with life. Setting strong boundaries with others and for yourself is a vital point. Saying no, give yourself permission to rest and rejuvenate allows for more clarity of mind and inner peace.
 
Listening to heart based guided meditations and breathing techniques are excellent practices – even 1 minute of breathing can regulate your system from fight, flight freeze to rest and restore.
 
Humming – The vibrations from humming, singing, or chanting can stimulate the vagus nerve, further promoting a parasympathetic response. Place your hand on heart and begin your humming practice.
