Optimising Mental and Emotional Wellbeing For Your Life & Career Direction

Optimising Mental and Emotional Wellbeing For Your Life & Career Direction

Our wellbeing is optimal in how we navigate our life and career in a more balanced and practical way. Here are 4 tips on how you can optimise your mental and emotional wellbeing for greater capacity and ease:

⭐ Explore a Hobby

Research shows that people with hobbies are less likely to experience stress, low mood, anxiety, and depression and improve their mental and emotional wellbeing. If you’re not actively taking up a hobby, it’s time to sit down and write a list of things that interests you and pick the one that you’re keen to try and make time for things that bring fulfillment and joy.

⭐ Practice Forgiveness

Forgiveness is the capacity to reclaim our peace of mind when something has happened that’s upset us. When we forgive, we liberate ourselves from angst and resentment and free our energy, our hearts, and minds to move into a calmer and loving way forward. To practice forgiveness, say “I forgive and let go”

⭐ Plan and Set Goals

Have a plan and setting goals, gives you a structure to keep on track, elevates your momentum and increases your motivation because you can see how you’re tracking and celebrate your growth and make changes along the way that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

⭐ Make Time for Play & Rest

Your play is your fun, catching up with family and friends, watching a movie that you love. Inviting friends over to share a favourite meal, all this is vital for your play and wellbeing.

The other is time for rest, rejuvenate, restore. It might be, spending time in silence without any devices for 30 minutes or so. Spend time going for a walk, taking a few deep breaths. Practicing daily gratitude, offering yourself love and peace.

Keep optimising your mental and emotional wellbeing
