We all know that life gets chaotic, between juggling work, home, family, friends, and finding time for ourselves. It’s no surprise that some aspects get neglected.
Write a weekly list for the next 4 weeks on what you have on – break it into 5 columns. At the top of each column, write: Work, Home, Family, Friends, My Time. Then break it down into weekly and daily and write down your tasks, engagements etc.
Review your commitments and tasks for the week and each day and identify what to remove. Create a new column, call it ‘park.’ You might revisit the parked ones later down the track and determine what you’ll do with them. This entire process allows you to assess your needs and what’s important for your wellbeing.
Decluttering helps to release stress and clears the space around to make way for new. A room that needs decluttering often feels heavy, so you want to bring lightness to your environment – creating more flow and ease.
Start slowly, choose a room at a time – then choose a draw and begin each day letting go of pieces you no longer need. Then select another draw and so on. This process supports stress levels, calms your nervous system to feel peaceful.
By prioritising what’s important, and decluttering your physical environment, allows for more clarity about your life and career direction. This gives way for focus and commitment. Clarity and focus support mental and emotional wellbeing, enabling you with more energy and vitality to rise and thrive with love and joy.
