How To Set Strong Boundaries, 6 Questions To Ask

To build rock solid confidence, we need a boundary framework that will hold us firmly on the ground, forging our way authentically for our mental and emotional wellbeing
 
Let’s look at 6 essential questions to ask yourself as you craft your boundary blueprint:
 
⭐ What do I need?
⭐ What is right for me?
⭐ How do I feel in my body? Embodiment, is key to check in with yourself, when something feels not right, ensure you set boundaries that align with you, and this will come through by noticing and listening to your bodily sensations.
⭐ What will I accept or not accept? What are my negotiables and non-negotiables?
⭐ How do I want to feel in this moment?
⭐ Am I staying true to my values right now?
 
To create your boundary framework, once you’ve answered the questions, write them down in a journal or notepad or add them to a word document. Call the heading ‘Boundary Framework’. Include your top 5 values on the page so you have them handy.
 
If you don’t have a list of values. Go to: https://personalvalu.es/personal-values-list
and look at the list on the site, or you may want to go through the values test for free. Once you’ve identified your top 5 values, add them to your word document.
 
Refer to your framework and make changes to it when you need to.
