Grow: Craft Your Dream Life Path

Grow: Craft Your Dream Life Path

When we start visualising on how our dream life might look like, we begin the process towards crafting the life we want.

As long as you are on the dream life path, let your creative flame spark up inside you. Remember, there’s no holding back on your vision, only moving toward.

✨  Embrace Creativity

Creativity is not about creating a canvas painting, it can be, but that’s not the intent here. When you embrace creativity, you open yourself to seeing things from a different perspective. Perhaps try something new, look at other avenues that you may not have thought of before.

To open the energy of creativity, spend some time in silence, take a few deep breaths. You may want to journal, put pen to paper and write your thoughts, dreams and aspirations. Ask the question “what path is best for me to take?” and the answers will unfold.

✨  Visualise Your Dream Life

Once you’ve put down in your journal some ideas from your creativity exercise. Add the top 3 ideas that are important to you for your next steps and begin visualising your dream life. Things to consider when you visualise yourself in your dream:

What are you doing in your dream life? how are you serving? what impact are you making? where are you located? who are you with? Are you abroad or locally? What are the surroundings like? Think of as many characteristics about your visualisation.

✨  Imagine How It Feels

It’s important to feel your dream life path. Now that you have visualised your dream and where you are and what you’re doing and with whom. The next step, is to imagine how it feels like living your dream.

Questions you may want to look at are: How do I feel living this life that I created? How does it impact me on a day to day and the impact I make for others? What gives me joy living my dream? You can journal the feelings or imagine it during meditation or some deep breathing.

✨  Begin Taking Steps

The final step is to begin the process of taking actionable small steps to move towards your goal. Let’s look at how you can begin:

Create a ‘my dream goal tracker’, here you add your main goal for what you want to achieve and then incremental goals to move you step by step towards the outcome. Allow for flexibility, because things might slightly change along the way.

Examples of small goals are, finding resources as supports to obtain information. You may need to call an organisation, or you may need to attend an event or perhaps sign up for a short course.

Other examples are, you might need to talk to a good friend about their opinion. As it assist to keep your mental and emotional state in check having support to reach out to. Add these on your tracker and tick and date once done. Include an acknowledgment section, so it shows you how far you’ve come and keeps you motivated.

Keep dreaming, with love, Ant xo
