Discover Life & Career Direction - How To Move From Reactivity To Creative Action

We know in life that reacting doesn’t solve a problem. What if we could shift gears towards creative action and get a better result. Let’s take a closer look:

⭐ Create Space For Reflection

Creating space gives you mental and emotional ability to see things from a lens of growth, abundance and new perspectives. Offering more opportunity for a better way forward.

To get started: Block out time for creative thinking and strategic reflection, eliminating or delegating reactive tasks. Spend less time on digital devices. Go for a walk in nature, go to the park and allow yourself to be in the moment.

⭐ Practice Grounding Your Energy

Being grounded brings you closer to the present moment, encourages better decisions making based on a clear mind and truthful. Grounded energy stems from a deep connection to your inner self. Developing emotional maturity is essential to achieving this grounded state.

To get started: Try reminding yourself that you are worthy, take long deep breaths and repeat the words, “I am anchored, I am worthy, I am present in this moment, connected to my truth.”

⭐ Consciously Decrease Your Reactivity Ratio

The goal is not to eliminate reactiveness entirely as at times it’s natural to be reactive – as it fuels the ability to problem solve when it’s controlled and balanced. The aim is to consciously increase your ratio of creativity to reactive responses for long-term success and fulfillment.

To get started – start by regulating your nervous system by having a self-care practice. You may want to take 10 deep morning breaths. The other one is to meditate each morning for a few minutes.

If journaling is your thing, write down thoughts for a few minutes, don’t hold back, dump thoughts such as anger, fear, rage – anything that shows up and then give thanks for your time letting go and release.

Each morning, say what you are grateful for and why, research has proven it creates space for greater clarity and calm.

Keep up with creative action
