When we are clear about our values, and what we stand for, it provides us with a guiding compass to stay on track for what feels true and meaningful. This also applies to our strengths and gifts. If you haven’t identified your strengths and gifts, ask a good friend, as they see what you might not see. Write down what you value, what’s important to you, this may apply to relationships, career, friendships, family etc. Write down your top 5 values and write down your gifts and strengths, and keep them close to you.
We only have two choices, to either walk the path of fear or the path of love. Depending on what we choose determines the experience and the outcome. Spiritual teacher and author Gary Zukav, says exactly that, love and fear. He says, there is the fearful part of our personality and the loving part, and we have a choice to reach for the loving part each day. The more you choose love, the greater love you will experience in the world. To connect with your love muscle, say “I choose love in this situation.”
We need to set out our intentions consciously each day, each moment. Set your intention from the lens of compassion, kindness, awareness, openness, inclusivity, growth, wisdom, faith, grace, and peace. From the perspective of taking responsibility of your thoughts, behaviour, your energy. Knowing in your minds eye that you are in ownership on how you handle situations that arise, connected to your bodily sensations, and emotions intimately, responding calm and in your truth.
