Ritual 1. PRACTICE GRATITUDE & JOY.
One way to immerse in a gratitude ritual is by writing in a journal or notebook each morning what you are grateful for, as well at night. Morning gratitude is an opportunity to notice what’s around you, such as the simplest things. From being grateful for the warm cup of coffee you look forward to each day. Spend time doing things you love, with friends that uplift you, fun conversation, and belly laughs, nurture your soul for your wellbeing.
Ritual 2. SHOW COMPASSION & KINDNESS.
The first thing to ask when you are being hijacked by your inner critic and need some compassion, say, ‘what do I need right now?’ and allow your inner voice to come through naturally. To cultivate more compassion and kindness for yourself, create a ‘personal encouragement mantra’ this is held as your intention and a great reminder that you are doing the best you can do, and it’s important to remember that you are human and a bit of love and understanding is what you need. An example of an encouragement mantra is, ‘I am doing my best and continue to be true’ or ‘I can do this’ or ‘You’ve got this.’
Ritual 3. NOURISHING BEDTIME WINDING DOWN ROUTINE.
A nourishing bedtime ritual is as important for your self-care as all other rituals. Light up a gorgeous essential oil candle. I would describe it as my go to ritual calming signature style. My amethyst crystal is by my bedside table. I like to take a few slow deep breaths, some evenings, You may want to read a chapter of a book that you are into while your candle is burning in the background, and other nights meditate for 20 minutes or so to get yourself at ease and ready for nourishing restful sleep.
