Create a Go to Mantra – I love the idea of a go to mantra. I see it as a little go to positive self-talk supporter technique, to use when the need arises. Dr Brene Brown calls it, an authenticity mantra. Examples of when you might want to repeat your go to mantra is when you may be feeling a little anxious or fearful about something new, stepping out of your comfort zone, speaking up in meetings etc. The ones I love to use are ‘you’ve got this’, ‘you can do this’, ‘you can learn from this’ Try these or create your own, give it a go and see what comes up.
