3 Principles To Self-Love

✨ Honour Your Worth – Begin with the concept of ‘Worthiness’. See yourself as worthy as you already are. In other words, your worth is not determined by what others think of you, what they approve and what they don’t. You may want others to like what you offer or say, however it doesn’t determine your worth. You can get disappointed by their actions or comments. You know deep down, your worth is not measured by opinions, and judgments because your worth is your true essence, brilliant as you are.
 
✨ Create a Go to Mantra – I love the idea of a go to mantra. I see it as a little go to positive self-talk supporter technique, to use when the need arises. Dr Brene Brown calls it, an authenticity mantra. Examples of when you might want to repeat your go to mantra is when you may be feeling a little anxious or fearful about something new, stepping out of your comfort zone, speaking up in meetings etc. The ones I love to use are ‘you’ve got this’, ‘you can do this’, ‘you can learn from this’ Try these or create your own, give it a go and see what comes up.
 
✨ Choose Light over Shadow – The light is where the heart sings. It’s when we decide to be of service to ourselves and to others. When we accept the present moment and walk from a place of accountability, the mastery of life, that is when we thrive. The shadow sabotages – keeps us small and disempowers love. You don’t want to be caught up in egoic thought concepts. When you decide to turn on the light, there will no longer be darkness.
