When we become familiar with our fears and get a grip of why they are there, it enables us to process them with a clearer perspective. The understanding they have been part of our journey as our survival mechanism – we can deal with challenges with greater awareness. We know, we have a choice to either stay stuck or be brave and take a step forward, even if it is a tiny one. Bringing you closer to self-empowerment and self-love.
Self-trust is your anchor, your movement into any direction you choose to take. When we’ve struggled with self-doubt over the years, it’s easy to not trust ourselves, as well as difficulty making decisions. To grow your self-trust muscle, take time out for at least 5 minutes a day, sit in silence where there are no distractions and take a few deep breaths, relax into the moment and allow yourself to be. You will find this practice will create a sense of calm and offer you greater capacity to trust in life.
Put yourself first, think about what your needs are before you open your energy up to helping and being there for others. Protecting your energy fills up your inner love container, so you have fulness of love to offer your time and energy to you and others. The way to protect your energy is to set strong boundaries, making it clear what is okay and what is not okay for you. Setting boundaries, takes practice, the more you do it, the easier it becomes.
