3 Essential Practices To Create a Calm Mindset

A quick method to bring yourself back to the present moment, is remind yourself of why it’s essential for you to be in the present moment. Becoming mindful that the present moment is what we only have, creates awareness and the connection to be present.
You may want to write a personal “be present mantra” as your got to reminder, particularly when you find yourself in looping thoughts, and possibly feelings of overwhelm. An example is “I am living and loving each day moment by moment.” Keep this with you as easy access to come back to presence.
 
⭐ Connect To Your Body
 
The body is a gateway to move out of your mind chatter, into slowing down and creating calm by regulating your nervous system. Try methods of touch, taste, sound, breath and movement.
You may want to give yourself a warm hug, which is the element of touch. Perhaps take some deep breaths and loud sigh out, letting go, releasing with the element of sound. These are a few quick tips to create calm by connecting to your body.
 
⭐ Pause and Breathe
 
The simplest and quickest access to creating calm is through the natural rhythm of our breath. Take 5 minutes each day in the morning and evening or when the need arises to simply breathe. Slow deep breaths creates calm for your nervous system. Cultivating a calm mindset, allowing you to pause and reset.
Keep being in the present moment and relish calm.
