Life & Career Direction – De-Stress By Anchoring In Your Heart Energy

Heart brain is another way to describe heart energy. If we choose each day consciously to notice and intentional with how we nurture our heart essence. Instils courage, harmony, peace, authenticity and self-love.

Research shows that heart brain coherence is when our brain works with our heart and body. It is a state of unity between mind, body, and spirit.

Here are three ways you can de-stress and develop your creativity by accessing your heart energy muscle:

✨ Visualisation Practices

Visualisation is known to be an effective modality to balance challenging emotions and quietening the busy mind, increasing creativity. Take some time out in silence and begin with a few deep belly breaths, do this for a bit – then begin visualising a golden light covering your heart centre. Continue breathing and imagine the feeling in your heart, softening, peaceful, in flow.

The key is to tune into what grounds you into your heart centre, so you connect with your body and notice thoughts with intention.

✨ Daily Acts of Kindness

Take care of yourself. In the morning, say 3 things you are grateful for and breathe in and out, embracing life as it is.

Call someone you care about and connect, a conversation with a loved one, is an act of kindness that nourishes both hearts bringing joy and warmth.

Go for a walk, lightly stretch, sit outside and close your eyes gently and feel the warm sun on your face – this is a beautiful simple practice to re-centre and open your heart energy with love.

✨ Rest, Reflect and Restore

We all know that rest is important. A good night sleep is key. One way to sleep better is to try and go to bed at the same time every night if you can.

Try an evening ritual, light a soy candle, read a bit before you go to bed. Say a prayer connecting to your heart space, giving thanks for the day and grateful for the day ahead.

Tip: journal writing is a great technique for reflections. You may reflect on your day or week. There is no right or wrong way to practice reflection, this is one technique, however you may find another and that’s ok too.
